By accessing or using FontJot ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FontJot is a mobile application that converts handwriting photographs into installable OpenType font files using AI-powered generation. The Service includes handwriting capture, character generation, font compilation, and font file export.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Tokens and Purchases

Font generation requires tokens, which can be purchased through in-app purchases. Tokens are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or app store policies. Token prices and bundle sizes are subject to change.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any handwriting samples you submit to the Service. By using the Service, you grant FontJot a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute any font files generated through the Service for any purpose, including but not limited to marketing, showcasing, product improvement, and sublicensing. You may also use your generated fonts for any personal or commercial purpose.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Submit content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit the Service
  • Interfere with the operation of the Service

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that generated fonts will perfectly replicate your handwriting or meet specific quality standards.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FontJot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
